Four piece modern melodic metalcore band out of Omaha, NE. With a love for the 2010 era of metalcore, Escaping The Eclipse’s music is heavily influenced by bands like Fit For A King, Of Mice & Men, and even some older bands like As I Lay Dying and August Burns Red. They capture a unique blend of fast paced heavy modern and revival riffs and breakdowns blending the lines between old and new metalcore staples.
Survival Trial Survival Trial was their first EP, written, recorded, and released entirely independently. With a vision to have a more 2010's metalcore revival sound, influences like Crown The Empire, Of Mice & Men, and Miss May I came heavily into play. Survival Trial was written about facing the struggles of the world with perseverance and overcoming any circumstance including things like addiction, heartbreak, and dealing with the anger that may come; surviving these trials of life, and coming out on top.
The Reaping Their first self released full length album was heavily inspired by a cathartic release of energy, from anger to love, and everywhere in between. The album includes singles the title track, Psychosomatic, Pure, and more songs varying in style and influence. With features from local talents Bobby Wright (From This Day Forward), and Micah Murphy (As Tides Rise), the project aims to showcase just a taste of what the Omaha scene has to offer.
